Communication Interface Unit (CIU) for Siemens and New York City Transit (NYCT) 2008-2009 The CIU was delivered to Siemens and the New York City Transit (NYCT) as part of their Communication Based Train Controller (CBTC) and Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system. Micro-cellular system - transcoder card 1994-1997Micro-cellular system was a multi-site project designed to provide in-building cellular access for malls, company sites, and universities. The transcoder card was a state of the art card that provided resources to convert PCM voice to TDMA format for the micro-cellular.· Managed the technical aspects of design of new features for the transcoder card. · Designed, coded, tested, and integrated OAM, call processing/call resource management.· Coordinated the transcoder card software integration and supported its integration into the micro-cellular system.· Created, maintained, and improved load building system/procedures for the entire project.· Introduced and managed the software version control, load delivery, and problem tracking for the project.· Innovated by using C++ coding and a tool to track memory leak.SPC/DM (Store Program Control/ Download Mediator) for Bell Canada 1992-1993Responsible of a system that provided a single provisioning interface for various telecommunication switches and voice mail systems.· Designed, coded, maintained and tested new features.· Maintained software version control and problem tracking for the project.· Interacted with customer for design, integration, and maintenance of new features.· Trained new employees to the project.
