Hello, my name is Luca. I am a University of Massachusetts Boston Honors graduate and R&D Researcher with a demonstrated history in the higher education and biotech industry. I have a proficient in a range of biochemistry analytical techniques that are outlined in my profile. During my time at Covaris, I have accrued many valuable skills in the field of laboratory automation, nucleic acid extraction and purification workflow optimization, DNA and RNA library prep for NGS, in addition to spearheading the verification and validation of our clinically validated nucleic acid extraction platform from FFPE samples. This work included the writing and revision of many SOP's and WI's outlining the protocol.
