It Intern
I worked in the Information Systems division of L'Oreal Italy as an intern for 6 months. I was involved in the international project "Bosphorus" whose aim was to implement the information system used in Italy for the Turkish division of L'Oreal. The solution that was installed in Turkey comprehended SAP R/3 (MM, SD and FI-CO modules) and SAP BW.In particular i worked for the BW team as responsible of the front-end side. My job was to interpret the needs expressed by the users in Turkey and translate them into reports that would be used to support decisional processes. This position allowed me to observe the business practises in all the major areas of the company (Sales & Distribution, Logistics, Credit and Controlling) giving me the chance to enhance my competences in those fields.In addition i developed a great knowledge of SAP BW (especially of the application BEx Analyzer for the creation of queries). Along with this, i also developed fairly good knowledge in the use of SAP R/3, in particular of the SD, MM and FI-CO modules.During my internship, English was the main language I used to communicate with both Turkish users and a Chinese colleague who was doing his internship with me.
