From September 2023, I'm an Energy Reasearch & Innovation Senior Project Manager at RINA Consulting S.p.A, where my main duties are: - Technical management of Research and Innovation EU-funded projects, related to energy transition, decarbonization and sustainable development.- Writing of new research project proposals for the main national and EU calls.- Business development and stakeholder engagement.- Coordination of activities, people and economic resources. - Innovation management.- Building project consortium and partnership for new project proposals. - Participation and presentation in public and project events. - Event organization.- Managing industrial projects, such as due diligence and other relevant industry-driven innovation projects.

- Design and management of European and PNRR funded R&D projects, related to circular economy, decarbonization and energy transition.- Coordination and realization of the experimental activities within the company’s development program (focus on e-fuels and hydrogen).- Design and utilization of fermentative pilot plants for experimental activities and tests.- Energy transition, gas fermentation, biomethanation, molecular biology.- Coordination and teaching of students.

From May 2017 to March 2019, I've worked as a scientist and project developer, with also the contribution of a "Lagrange" applied research grant funded by CRT foundation, at Environment Park SpA, the technological and scientific park for the environment, Turin, Italy. I’ve actively collaborated, in the Green Chemistry sector, at the development of innovative and sustainable technologies for the valorization and exploitation of different kinds of agro-industrial and urban wastes for biofuels and biochemicals production, using fermentative pilot plants. I’ve also beenactively employed in the writing, inspection and management of national and European projects.- Scientific management of National and European projects in the fields of technological innovation for the valorization of second-third and fourth generation biomasses for bioenergy and biochemicals production.- Scientific and technical support to stakeholders interested in the biomass valorization and circular economy sectors.- Project specialist in the Green Chemistry sector with the task of coordinate and execute experimental tests at pilot scale, optimize process parameters and analyze the results obtained in order to increase process yields and efficiency. - Steam explosion, chemical and enzymatic hydrolysis of agro-industrial and urban waste for valuable compounds extraction.- Biogas and Bio-hydrogen co-production using the two-stage anaerobic fermentation process at pilot scale.Scientific reports and oral presentations

I brilliantly carried out the task of Fermentative Process Quality & Security Manager in Azienda Agricola Ornina, from September to December 2016. My central duties were:- Analysis of the quality of grapes and wine.- Research studies regarding the main parameter influencing the quality of wine. - Security and quality manager of the wine fermentative processes.- General planning of the work in the winery.

I’ve successfully completed a six-month research project as an independent research at Imperial College London, working at the Centre of Synthetic Biology and Innovation. I’ve brilliantly accomplished the experimental research needed to write my Master thesis, working hard at the “Development of a Synthetic Biology-Based Bioplastic Prototyping Platform”. The main aims of this project were to build a prototyping environment that enables to engineer and test the bioplastic operons that produce more bioplastic (PHA), identify the culture conditions that maximize production and use Dairy waste as low cost carbon source for bioplastic production. During this project I was able to significantly improve my time-managing, problem-solving skills and to obtain important scientific outcomes: I’ve produced more bioplastic than previously achieved in the same lab and I’ve successfully converted milk whey into bioplastic.

In February 2013, I had a seven months working experience in Spain at the University of Barcelona. In collaboration with IDIBAPS I join a Neuroinflammatory researchers group. I worked with passion and constantly on the induction and temporal characterization of neuroinflammatory response in an animal model of Multiple Sclerosis: EAE. During the stage I deepened my knowledge in Neuroscience, approaching to the principal histological and protein assay techniques; I acquired management and technical skills; use of principle database programs and security in laboratories. At the end of the curricular stage, the head of the neuroinflammatory group, Josep Saura, asked me to work for a period in his laboratory, for this reason I decided to take part in one of his projects, and to write my final thesis at the University of Barcelona, in collaboration with IDIBAPS. I constantly worked with passion on the induction and temporal characterization of neuroinflammatory response in an animal model of Multiple Sclerosis: EAE.
