I am currently studying the third year of bachelor's degree in Information Systems at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Since the beginning of the course, it has been possible to obtain skills in software development, programming and computer science in general, through the study of languages such as C, C++, Python (and the Numpy library), Verilog, Standard ML and Prolog. In addition, it has been possible for me to learn about several core vessels of Computer Science, such as data structures, programming paradigms and POO, asymptotic complexity analysis and the study of algorithms in general.Furthermore, the experience of volunteer work at the UFMG's junior software company, iJunior, has allowed me to develop a good deal of software development hard skills, especially web, through contact with JavaScript, Node, SQL, Python -alongside Flask framework- and several NPM libraries, such as Express, React, Passport, Jest, Axios, Nodemailer, Node-schedule and Redis. Besides that, this job allowed me to gain experience in soft skills related to the increasing of personal communication and team work abilities.
