I studied manufacturing technologies in school on Long Island and started a few entrepreneurial ventures after school.Freelance handyman work and remodeling as well as suburban garden design and installation. My love for carpentry and all things building brought me to Bednark Studios where I found a passion for team building, facility maintenance, logistics, and all things operations. There I started in the fabrication department and grew my skills and knowledge giving me the opportunity to participate in one of Bednark’s largest projects to date. The Covid Relief Face Shield program. When NY closed Bednark created a quick production design for a face shield to help NY first responders. A few months and over 2.7 million face shields produced later. After that it was facilities, logistics, and overall operations management where I honed my skills for team building, management, efficiency, culture, and process improvement. I have recently left that great company to join my family business in the eyewear industry. I have a whole new industry and business to learn. I’m looking forward to being a part of another great company. Great leaders, innovators, and new technologies keep me on my toes. I am always looking to learn and grow.
