Lucas Charles Gilbert is a student at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and is a part of the Chancellor's Honors Program. Lucas is currently studying Nuclear Engineering and is focusing in the area of Nuclear Security. He recently spent a year away from school on a Co-op at DENSO Manufacturing in Tennessee, where he worked on kaizen, plant efficiency, and overall day-to-day operations in the plant. Lucas graduated from William Blount High School in Maryville, Tennessee, with honors and was in the top five in his class. Lucas has worked for J. W. Jackson Residential Construction L.L.C. and has experience working on and with heavy machinery. This experience includes maintenance, excavating, and construction work.
