As a dedicated and results-driven student, I am passionate about marketing and selling products/services to customers and ensuring their satisfaction is a top priority. With two jobs centred around customer relationships, I have good experience with customer service, as well as being adaptable to many different scenarios. I have honed my skills in communication, as well as the ability to learn new skills fast to best serve my customers.I worked as a plumber for Richards Plumbing and Heating during the summers of 2022 and 2023, and it was overall a great experience. I learned a lot of life skills, and I formed great relationships with co-workers and ensured the needs of the homeowners and builders were met. The skills I applied most at this job were the ability to problem solve, adapt to different situations, learn on my feet and communicate with customers and co-workers. I also started a car-detailing business with some of my friends called Lakeside Car Cleaning, where I went and cleaned cars around my community and surrounding areas. Since this was our own company, I learned a lot of marketing skills, as well as customer service skills, to drive up sales and generate the most profit. Our first summer we generated around $3000, and I am continuing to build my skillset so that I can benefit my company like I did my own.As a future Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Calgary, my goals are to build my skills when it comes to marketing, selling products, and having good customer service skills so that I can bring the most sales to my company. I am interested in growing in this industry and am willing to work with companies so that I can provide them with the best of my expertise, and so that I can make their customers feel welcome and invested in our company.I am excited to connect with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities where I can add value and make a difference.
