For the first few years with BGC Residential, I covered key developed areas in Banksia Grove/Carramar and Brabham/Dayton. Building large volumes of project homes enabled me and my team of trades to refine and improve our construction scheduling and processes. This refinement lead to a program that is of supreme efficiency, consistently topping construction timeframes amongst the group.Recent times have seen a geographical shift to Perth Metropolitan area. This shift means we are experiencing more developments, more multi-storeys and more difficult sites. Our team has proven to be adaptable. The engineering was complex - many types of posts and many types of beams. All of which needed to be precisely located. And the site was very tight - sloping block and close proximity to boundary fences meant some unique scaffolding needed to be employed. Challenge enjoyed.

To complete these houses in this time frame through winter was a terrific achievement. Thinking outside of the box with the scaffold enabled a huge time saving.

The key is to have an appreciation of the site overall and understand who will be there at what time. Space is premium. The team did a great job to complete this project so efficiently.

Very limited access on a very busy dual-laned main road. Minimal parking meant that there was little concurrent activity. Traffic management was required on several occassions just to receive deliveries and the overhead powerlines didn't help either!

Definitely one of the tightest we have operated on. All suppliers needed to be briefed on the site and its limitations, not only physical limitations but also consideration for the neighbour's school runs etc. The project was very successful due to our ability to plan ahead and excellent communication with multiple stakeholders.

Everything needs to fall into place to build any home this quickly, let alone dealing with tradesmen that you're not used to using. Frequent and open communication was key to pulling off such a remarkable feat. Great design, great home building, great result for great clients

South Guildford/Hazelmere - Experience building permanent and temporary modular housing addressing connectivity, weather and geographic challenges. We had up to 50 tradesman on site and hosted accreditors, suppliers, and potential clients. My achievements and responsiblities included:- Designed and implemented quality, OHS and security processes and standards- Primary lead for requisitions, inductions, toolbox meetings, drafting alterations and administrative procedures- Continual trade supervision, delivery and yard management.Canning Vale - Company management were situated here and we predominantly built permanent transportable housing including award winning display houses. My achievements and responsibilities included:- On-site housing installation at Karratha and Port Hedland- Implementation of MS Project to streamline construction processes and organise trades and suppliers across multiple projects- Design and implementation of quality control- Direct trade supervision
