Supervised by D. Schmaeh and E.BoillatDeveloped an R&D design tool, spanning multiple softwares (Fusion360, Matlab and Abaqus) that allows for faster and more efficient snowboard structure development. The objective was to create a tool utilizing multiple methods and comparisons, capable of predicting the flexural and torsional properties of snowboards, with inputs from their shape and material properties.This allows to greatly reduce the prototyping rounds needed to develop a marketable product.

As the head's mechanic I handled most of the customer relations, workshop maintenance and upgrading. I led a team of 12 mechanics and scheduled their work appropriately, depending on the workshops capacity and availability. I also took care of the recruitment of new team members and their training, teaching them the ins and outs of the trade, from the most beginner tasks for newcomers, to more advanced methods for more proficient team members. I also took part in various project developments and events organization through EPFL's mobility department.

EPFL's Point vélo is at the heart of its cycling movement. The point vélo gives the opportunity to all EPFL members to bring their bike for a service, either done by themselves with the supervision of a mechanic, or by dropping it at the workshop. As a mechanic, I organized repairs and sales of new and second hand bikes, equipment and services. I organized free mecanics courses given each semester, from beginner to advanced, to teach the community how to service their own bike and gain independence.
