About Lucas C. Bohnett
I have over 15 years of biotech industry R&D experience working with clinical trial statistics and generating results. I take pride in my work and get it right. Currently, I work for Kezar Life Sciences Inc. as their Director of Statistical Programming where I lead biometrics activities on multiple projects encompassing multiple clinical trials.At Acadia Pharmaceuticals I played a major role in an Integrated Summary of Safety (ISS) project’s dataset construction and TLF’s, which supported an sNDA. I have a hand in the design, review, and creation of SDTM and ADaM datasets, CRF's, SAP's, and source TLF's. I also review vendor supplied data and documentation, create and maintain SAS macro’s, and perform high level analyses. I contributed to an Advisory Committee meeting and preparations as well as the subsequent NDA approval in 2016 for pimavanserin. I also led programming activities during the FDA’s review of Daybue in 2022, which was ultimately approved in 2023. I was the Biometrics department mentor for our 2018 Biometrics summer intern.Coming out of graduate school I joined Dexcom as their SAS programmer in 2008, where I analyzed glucose readings we downloaded from our medical device (the glucose sensor’s receiver) in XML format and then merged that data with eCRF clinical trial data residing in Microsoft Access. These analyses contributed to clinical study report’s (CSRs) used for FDA submissions and internal product development. I contributed to the CSR for the G4 Platinum PMA approval in 2012 and also the CSR for the PMA supplement approval in pediatric use, as well as accepted scientific manuscripts, abstracts, talks, patents, and posters.
