Currently Planning Editor for The Ledger, a weekly business-focused publication serving Tennessee markets Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga, as well as their surrounding counties.Also a freelance writer, editor and content consultant, specializing in music, entertainment, sports, technology and the various cultures surrounding those industries. Currently writer/host for "Around The Barrel," the award-winning official podcast of The Jack Daniel Distillery.Published in USA TODAY, The Tennessean, (the late) Nashville Banner, and dozens of magazines and websites. Also spent seven years as an adjunct (Latin for "not paid very much") instructor of media studies on the collegiate level. Passions include personal tech, NFL football, learning more about the art and craft of storytelling, hanging with my son (the SmallLandMammal), and a good, aggressive IPA.
