I held ultimate responsibility for the Android and iOS Applications and their respective teams (30+ developers). Key responsibilities:• Hiring, coaching, and mentoring 30+ direct and indirect reports.• Setting a structure and building bridges to deliver on product needs, improve communication between platforms, and maintain continuous improvement in both technical and soft skills.• Stakeholder management (technical and non-technical).• Assisting in setting OKRs and defining priorities within the team and across the company.• Creating a long-term vision for the team and executing it.Some key initiatives:• Creating a Design System together with the design team and using it to migrate to Compose and SwiftUI.• Enhancing communication and promoting code sharing when possible between Android, iOS, and Web, including tools, resources, CI/CD, and using KMM.• Implementing unified tracking and metrics between platforms.

Responsible for the Android app (half a million active users) as well as hiringand mentoring 12 developers.• Refactored the legacy application applying new design patterns to simplify future changes and support concurrent development. This included migrating from JAVA to Kotlin, and implementing a clean architecture with clear guidelines.• Modularized the app into feature modules, ensuring each had its distinct layer division.• Implemented CI/CD processes, incorporating automated tasks such as PR builds, checks, tests, auto- releases, and changelog publishing.• Introduced testing, championing a TDD approach, which increased test coverage from 0% to 65%.• Developed a UI-library and implemented unidirectional data flows.• Collaborated closely with Product and backend developers to identify challenges and devise solutions.

Worked in the Groupon's Merchant App.Some innovative (back then) technologies and frameworks we used/implemented:* TDD and heavy reliance on Unit test.* Implemented a Jenkins CI/CD running the tests in the PRs and to build Releases.* Started working with Kotlin.

Developed an Android application from scratch. Released it to the Google Play Store and maintained (~300.000 Monthly active users)

Worked in customisation, compilation and distribution of the Operating System (Android) for some tablets. Including bug-fixes, updates and drivers improvements (C, JAVA, Assembly)

Developed an android application and a server to recollect data about position, network stats and other metrics to analyse and get network metrics.
