Communication has always been key to progress for me, as well as a good dose of knowledge seeking, a passion for technology, and a desire to make a positive social impact. These characteristics have opened doors for me throughout my professional journey, both as a university professor, engineer, and entrepreneur. In 2016, I founded CBA sementes, an internationally renowned startup that was awarded by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and was the winner of the TFF CHALLENGE 2020 - Kirchner Food Fellow Prize - MOST Investible startup, organized by Thought For Food. Along this journey, we trained potato producers, significantly increasing the scale of cultivation through aeroponics and artificial intelligence, which opened up new possibilities for hundreds of farmers around the world. This accomplishment brought a great sense of harmony, accomplishment, and motivated me to think about something even bigger, expanding the belief that technology and its applications can indeed be human enablers, the main tool for transformation and inclusion for all. Lucas is a dedicated and experienced professional who has spent the last decade working to make technologies available and accessible all over the world. He has a background in agritech and has previously founded and exited a company that focused on applied R&D for aeroponics and seed potato production. For the past year, he has served as a product owner, leading the development of a tool for analyzing oil field production and a platform for managing innovation partnerships between the public and private sectors.In my role as a member of FDTE (Foundation for the Technological Development of Engineering), I serve as a Product Owner in product management development and support the development of new businesses. I have also been an Expert Reviewer for the Transformative Research Challenge at the World Food Forum (FAO) since 2020. My education in Mechatronic Engineering at Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (2011) and my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (2017) at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo were great boosters in my journey that I hope will continue to bring more impact and reach more and more people. I help transform reality into a new form and vision, planting the seeds of the future today. Passionate about what I do and talking to people, I am now focused on promoting open and accessible technological innovation for all.
