Senior Web Developer for SunGard Higher Education. Primarily a PHP and ASP.NET developer. I have developed applications from complex line of business applications, to a complete redesign and re-architecture of websites for higher education. Recent projects include online admissions application for Ocean County College, advanced notification system for Ocean County College, WordPress contact center integrated with Datatel for Becker Community College. Other recent activities include developing mobile applications for higher education utilizing the RhoMobile framework and a set of custom JSON services written in Java / Groovy on the server.

In addition to being the Senior Web Developer, my position has expanded to also be the Senior SharePoint developer. I am responsible for the administration, configuration, and development for a 3 server Microsoft Office SharePoint Server farm supporting 60,000+ end users. We support about 1000 full time staff, with the remaining users either full or part time students.

Planned, developed and implemented a Microsoft Office SharePoint server farm. Currently serve as primary project planner, server administrator and software / solutions developer. Farm includes internal portal available to employees and students, reporting services, and public facing site available to the general public. Development for the implementation has included customized landing pages based on audience membership, customized web parts including Silverlight applications, custom integration points with Exchange server, Active Directory and Datatel and single sign on solutions for various services and web applications. Rebuilt and redesigned the Delta College public website. Software and development included a completely new ASP.NET version of SiteBuilder Toolkit, SunGard Higher Education's web content management system, and a complete redesign of the look and feel of the website. Customer support included a training and migration plan for the new design and content management system. Served as instructor for in person training classes for web content owners. Partnered with the Marketing Office to research and develop web content and editing standards and a SEO strategy. Created a Silverlight 3 application for new student orientation. Application developed utilizing Datatel integration services for student data and IIS Smooth Streaming for delivery of video content. Includes interactive how to guides and content targeted to specific audiences based on data mined from our ERP system (Datatel). Created and managed dozens of other web software projects. Projects have included a wide variety of purposes and audiences, including back office application and integration services, line of business applications and many end user facing websites and web applications.

Planned developed and implemented a secure password reset and management application. Created secure SQL databases for common user data, mined from backend ERP system (Datatel). Developed and implemented SQL server security guidelines and best practices for development team.Secured legacy applications and SQL databases using encryption and by upgrading insecure client code to protect against such threats as SQL injection and cross site scripting issues. Implemented C# and ASP.NET coding guidelines. Updated legacy applications to ASP.NET from classic ASP and VBScript. Created secure coding guidelines for onsite development team. Worked with development team to clean up legacy application security vulnerabilities.

Provided end user support of Windows and Mac computer systems. Developed software deployment packages and scripts for Windows and Mac. Supported technical services team by serving as Lead Technician and as interim Help Desk manager. Provided Help Desk support. Assisted web development team in research and development activities, including a printer management application integrated with data mined from the printers.
