I am a doctoral student at the University of Ottawa in Clinical Psychology. I have completed a B.Sc (hons) in Psychology at Memorial University in Newfoundland. I have a keen interest in psychological research and have contributed to a variety of labs both on and off campus. More specifically, I am interested in the field of human sexuality. I am motivated to answer big questions about sexual attraction across the lifespan.I also involve myself heavily with advocacy at various levels. I have spent multiple years representing student needs and voices at the university level (GASP). I currently serve as student representative with the International Academy of Sex Research (IASR). I have served, in the past, as President of the Psychology Society, Lead for Jack.org, as well as Memorial's representative for the Canadian Psychological Association. I advocate strongly for mental health and commit myself to various boards, panels, and groups to volunteer my time. I work hard, study intensely, and work with multiple communities. For balancing these things I have been awarded various scholarships including TD's scholarship for Community Leadership.
