Internal Medicine Resident Physician (PGY-1) at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, California. Prior to residency, I completed medical school at Rocky Vista University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ivins, Utah. While in medical school, I conducted ultrasound research on the false vocal folds, and was part of an honors track specializing in longitudinal medical care including the continuity of post-acute, long-term-care, end-of life care, and palliative and hospice care. I would like to pursue a career as a Hospitalist, or as an Intensivist specializing in Pulmonology/Critical Care.I grew up in San Diego and achieved my BS in Human Biology at University of California, Santa Cruz. I have prior experience as an Emergency Room Scribe and as an Emergency Medical Technician. I have international experience providing medical care and health education to the urban and rural communities in Huancayo, Peru. I also devoted three years as a counselor and coordinator for Camp Kesem, an organization that supports children who are affected by their parent's cancer.
