As a Tech Lead, I'm more focused on people development than software development itself. I still code (and I love code, more than ever), but now my main challenge is consider myself as a facilitator, to empower people and leverage their technical skills.I'm thinking more on long term roadmaps, breaking things down into smaller pieces so that the team can act operationally while I follow in a more strategic and tactical way.Not just being recognized as a leader, but formally, within an organizational structure, taking on this role is a whole new world for me, so as I discover the day-to-day minutiae, I update my description over time.---Some observations being a Tech Lead:- Technology is not an end in itself. It must serve the people and the process involved, not the other way around. And this is not an excuse to write/accept bad code. Quality software is expected as much as adherence to business requirements;- Leading is about leveraging others, delegating, training and empowering;- Communication is the central key: openly, promoting dialogue and understanding by listening actively and empathizing;

I'm focused in maintain build pipelines, cross platform applications, performance enhancement, custom architectures, requirements gathering, application modeling and another non-coding stuff too.I'm also focused on deliver fresh content to the team, point some technology stack to be used, lead, contribute and learn along other professionals.At zFlow, as we decide to start some ideas from scratch, the R&D oftenly is a requirement before we decide what we really will do.One of the reached company goals, was the migration of some legacy applications, to an entirely fresh new platform, that can fit all this old and new stuff together.Another great accomplishment was the creation of an agnostic web platform, SEO focused, that handles thousands of dynamic page rendering.
