I am a Master of Urban Planning Student at New York University. I recently graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Geography and International Development Studies, and a minor in Urban and Regional Studies. My research interests focus on the connections between power and space and include the fields of gender studies, LGBTQ+ studies, critical geography, and urban studies. As an undergraduate student, I researched how the intersectional identities of LGBTQ+ international students shape their mobility experiences in Los Angeles by using qualitative methodologies. Additionally, as a Peer Counselor at College Academic Counseling and a Research Assistant at AAP, I used quantitative methodologies to conduct research analyses that support each department's goals. I have a particular interest in using research to advance socioeconomic and racial equity in urban policy and programs.
