I have extensive experience (over 15 years) working in the transnational higher education sector in China, which has allowed me to develop sound knowledge about intercultural teaching and learning, administrative work in international education programs, and building meaningful relationships with different stakeholders. My passion for transnational education inspired me to conduct a PhD research at Deakin University on a full scholarship. The research focused on the practical implementation of tertiary-level Sino-Australian joint programs in China. The rigorous PhD research and first-hand working experiences have equipped me with the ability to perform various jobs in the transnational higher education sector. Additionally, I have been working as an English teacher in an EAP program (in partnership with Victoria University) for many years. Therefore, teaching Australian international students or immigrants English is also something I could do. My bilingual competency in both Mandarin Chinese and English gives me an extra advantage for future job opportunities.
