It's a real pleasure to advise and work alongside the founders of this incredibly innovative business. We're redefining what's possible with UK manufacture through our huge robot operated 3D printing farm in rural Kent. If you can think of it, we can make it from sustainable bioplastic, on demand with low minimums and high margin opportunity.

My next career adventure is the launch of a, errrr, real life bricks and mortar store/brand by the coast. A coffee joint, gift, apparel and lifestyle store in one place. Stay Lucky serves not only outstanding hand roasted coffee, but the local community in which it's based; we curate and sell a superb collection of home and gift products, sold with a smile in a fun and stylish environment, as well as hosting regular creative events.

Having merged my product design and wholesale business of 18 years, Luckies, with our most direct competitor Suck UK in June 2022, we set to work integrating the businesses as smoothly and successfully as possible, across all business functions. That project is ongoing and I'm there to support the process, as well as conceptualize and develop new product under the Luckies brand and associated collections.

Working one to one with a varied cohort of amazing creative businesses, I'm able to share my 18 years experience at the helm of a highly successful and globally recognized product design and wholesale business (Luckies Of London). Taking a unique approach to consultancy and mentorship, I focus on developing both the business itself and the mindset and skills base of the special people running these incredible enterprises, for the greater good of the business, its leaders and its team. My clients come through a healthy mix of direct recommendations and via the government funded body Creative UK.

Supporting this fantastically creative homeware, gift and lifestyle business is a real pleasure. I work alongside Tara and her team, being involved in every aspect of the business, helping to guide them towards achievement of their full potential.

In my mid twenties I resolved to create something from nothing, fulfil my only real ambition, emulate my heros and crack on with building a highly successful creative business from the ground up, the hard way. With a seed fund of £4k and no debt, myself and an incredible little team of like minded souls built a highly profitable £12m revenue business within 10 years. And we did it on our terms; independent, free spirited, resourceful and creative in all aspects of the business (except the accounting!). After 17 years of graft, learning, development, growth, risk and reward it was time to succesfully exit in 2022, which was achieved in a highly unusual and typically Luckies manner. The Luckies name, its products, brands and team continue to break the mold.
