• Financial Responsibilities: Manage and track Store Sales, Net Profit and• Overall Store Business• People Management: Recruit and select new employees, ensure that new employees are trained and inducted in accordance with Subway training requirements, provide ongoing coaching of employees and lead expectations by example, perform employee appraisals once every quarter and mentor Assistant Managers as required• Business Acumen: Develop and monitor store labour budgets and man hours, invoicing, ordering and daily banking, prepare required paperwork in relation to stock and sales, prepare employee pay and timesheets and managing cash variances and wastage.• Retail Acumen: Perform inventory management and stock control including weekly stock take and reports. Analyse the Weekly Sales & Inventory Report to improve the business, direct and undertake housekeeping activities such as maintaining store cleanliness and presentation and create and implement Local Store Marketing Plans• Occupational Health & Safety: Ensure safety procedures are followed to prevent injury, Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers, ensure all accidents are reported as per company process• Customer Services: Promote & encourage a high level of customer service amongst employees, provide a high standard of customer service in dealing with sales, inquiries and complaints and handle unresolved and/or escalated customer complaints

Maintaining a calm demeanour during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.• Anticipating customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. • Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.• Contributing to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.• Creating a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to partners on shift to ensure operational excellence and to improve partner performance.• Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.• Executing store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.• Following Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.• Recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and by collaborating with store manager to find new, creative, and effective methods of recognition.• Utilizes operational tools to achieve operational excellence during the shift.
