The news and business section provides facts and figures about British, European and World agriculture. The livestock, Arable and Machinery section reports the latest technical developments, while the land section reviews farm sales and analyses factors affecting prices. Farmers Weekly has the highest circulation in Agriculture and is independently audited by the ABC. Within this role I manage the Farmers Weekly classified team which consists of 5 Sales Executives and 1 Key Account Manager. The team sell print and online advertising solutions to many different advertiser types within the agricultural sector. We drive sales and enquiries each week for our advertisers, supporting their overall sales strategy.

My role as a Key Account Manager for Farmers Weekly involves providing classified advertising solutions for key clients who are some of the country's largest machinery dealers. I manage these key accounts effectively by providing customer service, both face to face and over the phone, and creating online, email and print marketing solutions in order to maximize my clients' sales. I focus on building a strong relationship with each of my clients and ensure each individuals needs are met using effective and targeted advertising campaigns. Another part of this client facing role is to explore new business opportunities and generate a new business revenue stream as well as engaging current advertisers in new opportunities to grow these accounts.Another part of my role is to assist in the management of the telesales team which involves helping to recruit new staff, planning incentive schemes, involvement in strategy planning and general day to day assistance in management of the team.My current role is prominently focused on classified advertising, however my first 3 years at RBI were purely focused on display advertising across several markets. Each year I also work on site at several RBI exhibitions in the agriculture, optical and hair sectors re-booking stands and looking after exhibitors.
