As Chapter Coordinator, I oversee the club and make executive decisions. My responsibilities include planning and establishing our biweekly club meetings and weekly EBoard planning sessions. I also liaise with members of the LOM National team, and administration at Northeastern. I actively pursue outside community events such as volunteer opportunities, mental health advocacy events, and to further engage our community and expand our impact.

I completed an interview and hours of training to gain the role of a supporter at this peer-to-peer text line. In this role, I receive anonymous texts from fellow students at Northeastern who are wanting someone to talk to. Then, I utilize active listening and empathy to respond accordingly, and direct them to outside resources.

As an inpatient Mental Health Associate at Arbour Hospital, I work directly with a variety of individuals. Specializing in the adolescent unit, I assist daily actives of those suffering from suicidal ideation, psychotic episodes, schizophrenia-induced hallucinations, and much more. Throughout the shifts, I record vital signs, assist with meals and nutrition, and conduct 15 minute safety checks. My favorite part of my job is being able to talk to our patients about their struggles at school, with substances, or self-esteem, and shine some joy into their lives.

The Sexual Violence Prevention Association is dedicated to preventing sexual violence systemically and nationally. I worked on fundraising, grant writing, and research to support our policies and work. I crafted the answers to the Echoing Green grant in which our CEO Omny became a finalist.

I worked in a more formal day care at Meredith New Hampshire's First Congregational church, as well as an independent babysitter for families in my community. I worked with a variety of age ranges and numbers of children at once. In my daycare position, I was responsible for up to eight children at once. My main responsibilities in general childcare work were ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the children, keeping the environment clean and orderly, and other household tasks.

My responsibilities included answering the phone, recording orders in an organized and accurate manner, greeting customers and handling their requests, training new employees, and ensuring the shelves were well stocked. I often was completing these tasks all at once, in a bustling store environment.
