Day-to-day event management including:- Event concept and design. Working closely with the client and assisting them with sourcing appropriate speakers for conferences and entertainment for events.- General event administrative duties, such as risk assessments, evaluation forms and invoicing.- Selling exhibition space and sponsorship at the events, and identifying potential sales leads- All aspects of onsite event management, from registering delegates, to liaising with speakers, organising the exhibition layout and ensuring the smooth running of the event on the day.

Oasis Personnel are a company which provides temporary staff to major events. Since working for Oasis, I have worked at various events, such as football matches as bar staff, Weddings as catering staff, and Annual end of year conferences and parties as general staff.

My work for Strategy Insights was a 1 month voluntary position. Strategy Insights are a company which offer top industry professionals from large corporate organisations an opportunity to meet and network, whilst attending industry related seminars to keep updated on current affairs. Whilst working for Strategy Insights, I had the opportunity to work closely with the Event Team, and assisted them in everything from contacting event attendees, to helping design the event brochure. I was also able to attend both events which were held in a prestigious hotel in central London. Whilst at the events, I took on the role of event team member, and contributed to the smooth running of the entire project from start to finish.

My role at Hugh Koch Associates was varied. As they are a medico legal reporting firm, I was responsible for 9 Clinical Psychologists and an Orthopaedic Surgeon. This involved all aspects from organising their diaries, to booking appointments for their clients and also liaising with clinical venues to keep bookings updated. As a Team Leader it was important to ensure that my team members were always driven and that targets were met. This included daily catch up on where the team was with workload and also the division of tasks between the team. As Team Leader I was the main point of contact for each consultant and Doctor of the firm and also was required to have weekly meetings with the management teams.Whilst at Hugh Koch Associates I assisted the Management team in creating a new system and working procedure for the entire company, which is still in place today.

I began working to TNC in the post room, franking the mail and preparing it to be collected by Royal Mail. After a couple of months, I was quickly promoted to Litigation Assistant. Whilst in this role, I was given my own litigation caseload, which I had responsibility over from start to finish. This included constant liaison with solicitors, and dealing with legal documentation, not to mention everyday administration.In April 2009, the Litigation Manager left, and I was promoted in their place. My responsibilities then took on to include weekly one to one meetings with the Owner and CEO of the entire corporation, as well as taking on the litigation cases whereby TNC where either the defendant or claimant party. This included the swearing of affidavit with the company solicitor, and dealing with official court documents.
