I am a Freshman at The University of Colorado Boulder, in the Leeds School Of Business. I am interested in going into Business with a possible emphasis in Finance or Accounting. I just completed my fourth year working at my local golf course. I work in the pro shop so I have lots of experience handling money and transactions, taking phone calls, booking reservations, organizing tournaments, and helping answer customer questions and complaints. I was actively involved in my high school through various different clubs; I was the President of my Senior Class and a high-ranking member of my high school's DECA chapter. I was also a member of ECO Club, Key Club, and Spanish Honor Society. These clubs allowed me to volunteer in various ways to support the environment, my school, and work with Spanish-speaking children after school. During the summer I also volunteer for my local swim team running the concessions stand for home meets. This has made me familiar with handling inventory, money, pricing, and selling. I also trained many parent volunteers on how to work the concessions and helped them learn the software used to take credit card transactions. I also played Varsity Soccer for my high school and for my local club team.
