I conducted an evaluation of UN Volunteers' gender equality work, including interviews and focus groups with staff and key stakeholders.

This project involves developing an online self-paced course on gender mainstreaming for all Commonwealth Secretariat staff. I also provide guidance on developing a theory of change for gender mainstreaming, and recommendations for improving and developing the capacity development strategy for gender mainstreaming.

I advise the Ethical and Social Dimensions of Tourism Programme on gender issues and contribute to the development of future activities in promoting gender equality and empowering women in tourism.

This placement was funded by the University of Sheffield to promote knowledge transfer on academic research into gender and tourism. I collaborated in the development of UNWTO activities in the field of gender equality and women's empowerment alongside the Ethical and Social Dimensions of Tourism Programme and the Sustainable Tourism-Eliminating Poverty Programme.

I work as a research fellow on the European Commission QUING project. In particular, I am focussing on gender training as a tool for gender mainstreaming.
