On 21st of October 2022, I was shortlisted for a legal associate position, at Spencer West and since 1st of November 2022 I began working as a full time Employee and a Trainee Solicitor of the Firm. Here, I currently work under Mr. Ishtiaq Nawaz Chechi, Barrister, Solicitor Advocate UK, high court Advocate (Islamabad Bar Council). My responsibilities are not limited to Pakistan as I work remotely for their London office as well, handling both simultaneously. Currently I;1. Set up matter files on an online client management System for UK and Pakistani Clients.2. Draft client Engagement Documents such as Engagement Letters, invoices, Framework Agreements etc.3. Draft Legal advisory Letters/Emails for individual and corporate clients of the Firm.6. Compile documents digitally and physically, depending on the client’s jurisdiction.7. Upload files on the UK’s land Registry website.8. Prepare visa Applications as an immigration associate for UK, Dubai and other countries as well.10. Correspond with and work for 3 separate Branch offices (Islamabad, Lahore & Karachi) of Spencer West Pakistan and Coordinate back with our England office aswell.
