The role includes the following tasks:Perform cut-overs between different kinds of transmission technologies in order to optimize the network;IP nodes commissioning and de-commissioning (Tellabs - 8605, 8630, 8660); circuit provisioning and de-provisioning (IP, TDM, ATM & Ethernet), LSPs, BGP, VRF and VPN configurations;Legacy circuit migrations/implementation on Alcatel Lucent ADMs (LambdaUnited, AMS, AMUs, ADM-Us);Circuit implementations on the access switches (NSN Hubs H2200, H200 & H800);Provisioning or de-provisioning ATM interfaces, on legacy ATM switches such as Nortel Passport 7000 and CGBX;Provide support to 2nd Line RAN team, ensuring the availability of 2G/3G and LTE nodes, by troubleshooting complex transmission faults, requiring detailed analysis and investigation;Making sure that, all unused configurations are erased from the network, in order to maintain management tools and equipment's efficiency.

This includes:— Reactive and proactive monitoring, first troubleshooting and, whenever possible, remote fix of microwave transmission equipments issues or liaise with 2nd Line when those fixes can't be done at a 1st line environment;— Analysis and end-2-end transmission faults troubleshooting, at the access network level, which includes all equipments between BSCs/RNCs and the BTSs/NodeB nodes, such as ADMs, ATM switches, IP routers, Microwave links, Fibre issues, Lease Lines and field support;— Third party suppliers fault reports, regarding lease lines problems and follow-up those reports, on a regular basis, to ensure faults resolution within the agreed SLAs.
