Hello! My name is Luis Valencia, I am in my first year of studying for my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at The Ohio State Max M. Fisher College of Business with a specialization in Finance. I am hardworking, ambitious, and motivated to enhance my knowledge in the field of business. Most importantly, I have a desire to never stop learning from others so I can become the most effective leader I can be.I am a member of the business scholars program, a highly competitive program focused on educating myself and other students in professional development, personal branding, and problem-solving skills through case studies. By participating in this program, I have obtained numerous opportunities to excel as a student, better preparing myself for the responsibilities that come my way and making valuable connections with my other driven, ambitious peers. I consider myself to be a driven leader who strives to elevate myself and others to their full potential. I value strong communication, efficiency, and vulnerability, creating an environment in which a team can perform effectively. At the moment, I am most interested in pursuing a career in consulting or accounting, however I am actively immersing myself in other aspects of business through scholarly extracurriculars and pursuing summer internships.
