Direct a staff of 43 employees. Annually producing 4 million radiation detection Dosimetry badges for this NVLAP-accredited company. Manage 5 direct reports (the Shipping/Receiving Manager, Film Manufacturing Manager, Outgoing Process Manager, Receiving Process Manager and Procurement Coordinator). Interview, hire and train all levels of staff. Conduct employee reviews.Purchase badge components from vendors. Oversee assembly and QA testing of all components and preparation of package shipments to clients worldwide. Perform regular analysis of sales and financial data to prepare budgets and forecasts. Prepare and manage an annual expense budget of $2.5M with a capital budget of $700K. • Successfully passed all audits from governing bodies and clients.• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors i.e. property/building managers and shipping companies.• Achieved efficiencies resulting in the products’ profit margins over 40%.Projects Include:• Helped launch the new product “Instadose.” Worked with the Marketing Department and vendors to determine effective packaging and material pricing.• Negotiated shipping cost reductions with FedEx, UPS and USPS.• Planned and coordinated a major expansion of the facilities. Created schedules, planning and frequency runs for each of the company’s new products.Handled facility management responsibilities. Maintained equipment and negotiated with vendors to purchase new apparatus and operational materials. Passed all audits, and consistently met all profit goals.
