* We build systems for Boeing, Vought, Lockheed Martin, Bombardier, Global Aeronautica and Spirit.*These electrical panels are built here in the Plano office and then are sent to Canada so we can troubleshoot them before going to the manufactures plant for final installation.*AIT provides tooling for airplane manufacturing. Some of the project that I've been involve in include the 787 Dream Liner for Boeing (Washington and South Carolina,Hawker Beechcraft (Wichita),Global 5000 for Bombardier in (Toronto and Mexico),Joint Strike Fighter F35 for Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth). New projects that I've been leading is transferring Triumph old systems to their new facility in Red Oak from their Grand Prairie location.*My responsibilities on these job sites anything from pulling cable from field devices back to the controller panels to looking over ans answering questions on mechanical and electrical drawing with other employees and subcontractors.As a lead I work along side,manage ans assist other technicians with any problems or questions. Other tasks include start-up and commissioning the systems with the software group.This includes testing incoming power communication,I/O check out,making sure everything is wired and labeled correctly,calibrate necessary devices and do onsite as-builds.After system is functional we go through and give the customer onsite training.Some of the systems include Laser Alignment Tooling,Servo Controlled Drillers,Automated Transport Vehicles.*Some of the products we use is Indramat server controllers over fiber optics sercos communication and Siemens PLC products over profibus or profinet communication..*Other tasks include soldering boards for custom RTC's,setting up CPU's,making different cables and building electrical panels.Different cables include plastic fiber optics cables,cables with d-sub connectors,ribbon cables,military spec cables and Harding quick connect cables,
