Luis manages the F&B daily operations along with his team of over 50 employees. Luis is a vital part of The Mayflower Hotel’s Food and Beverage team. Luis relishes in motivating his team and encouraging each one to his or her greatest potential.Luis's passion for Food and Beverage comes from his dedication to guest experiences. He makes sure that every guest that he encounters is treated like a celebrity. During his time as a General Manager, Luis received countless reviews on TripAdvisor and multiple awards for Bull & Bear that include: Best Steakhouse (Reporter’s Pick) for the Orlando Sentinel FOODIE Awards, OpenTable Diners’ Choice Awards Top 100 Restaurant in the US, Golden Spoon Award and Florida Trend and the Award of Excellence for Wine Spectator.Luis began his career in Puerto Rico at Isabella's Steakhouse. Then moved to Florida, he found himself at the Ritz Carlton as a Server and quickly joining the leadership team. His ambition for more lead him to become the General Manager of Fusion7 and later Bull & Bear. Luis continued his career with Hilton Worldwide, until recently relocating to D.C. and joining Marriott International at The Mayflower Hotel in D.C. as the Senior F&B Operations Manager.
