Manage and oversee the programming of all Latin video and audio content for Music Choice’s free On Demand network, its dozens of audio channels and its free online music service. Develop and oversee the creation of compelling multicultural content; in addition to managing the video and audio music programming that has made Music Choice’s Latin content – one of the network’s most popular music formats. Work closely with record labels, artists and their managers, industry representatives and our cable affiliates to demonstrate the power of Music Choice to expose both emerging and established artists to millions of consumers via their televisions, online and mobile devices.

Managed the programming strategy for all Latin video content on Video On-Demand including creation and development of menu structure, development of folder philosophies and content acquisition. Served as Music Director for our suite of Latin music channels (Tropicales, Latin Pop, Musica Urbana, Regional Mexican, and Romances), overseeing music programming functions such as song selection, categorization and music audits. Established and maintained external relationships in the music industry and related fields. Identified external opportunities that may enhance programming on our music channels and video products to positively impact our branding efforts.

Managed and implemented the programming philosophy for our Latin music formats including rotation updates and scheduling based on music research and usage data. Participated in promotions and initiatives for our Latino suite of channels. Maintained good, partnered relationships with record labels and industry experts. Conducted competitive analysis of networks and properties that target similar audiences. Analyzed data to determine the success of the ongoing programming enhancements.

Coordinated the scheduling/programming of Music Choice’s Latin video and music products. Processed and managed the databases of Latin music channels across all platforms using Music Master Software and in-house databases. Reviewed and made recommendations for Latin content for all platforms. Rated music videos and original content according to Music Choice’s guidelines and policies.
