Transform heat & vibrations into electricity via nanotriboelectrification during non-wetting intrusion/extrusion into/from nanopores

Researcher of the ADEM Project entitled Wind turbine materials research infrastructure at Knowledge Centre WMC and TU Delft [ECN-I06] (section "Materials for Wind Energy: Erosion behaviour of coatings and composites").- Designed, developed and set up a rain erosion testing (RET).- Analysed meteorological data to predict and prevent erosion on wind turbine blades.- Studied the surface topography as erosion launching factor of coatings for wind turbine blades.- Teach of the doctoral course "Tribology & Composites".

Experienced Researcher (ER) of the Project Marie Curie Initial Training Network (MC-ITN) entitled Engineering Tribochemistry and Interfaces with a Focus on the Internal Combustion Engine (ENTICE)[290077], 2014-2016.- Analysed and studied the mechanical and tribological behaviour of ZDDP tribofilms on diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings using experimental data (nano-indentations) and numerical simulations (FEM).- Started developing a multi-scale model for contact on diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings whenZDDP tribofilms are presented: model of asperity/asperity contacts at micro-scale.- Advised, using my technical expertise, in numerical simulations of tribological problems.- Taught applied classes to TRIBOS master's students in tribological measurements and laboratoryprocedures.- Disseminated the research findings in peer-reviewed journals and scientific international conferences.

- Advised technical expertise on behaviour of adhesives, surface coatings and manufacturing materials.- Performed thermal, rheological and hydraulic simulations on hot-melt applications. - Carried out experimental tests on hot-melt applications and equipment. - Implemented research projects to improve the hot-melt equipment and applications.- Managed and arranged research projects with third parties (external partners, research centers, universities...).

- Was involved in different research projects carried out by the Surface Technology Research Group, also communicated and collaborated with companies and research centres.- Supervised and advised scholarship holders of the Mechanical and Manufacturing Department.- Was advisor of Master's Thesis.- Was in charge of managing the database about tribology and wear of the Surface Technology Research Group.- Handled the scientific monitoring for the research projects developed by the Surface Technology Research Group.

R&D about Psychoacoustics of appliances: study and improve the perceived noise from appliances.- Programmed the perceived-noise variables for its analysis and study.- Carried out tests of noise from appliances in semi-anechoic chamber.- Proposed and implemented projects to improve the noise and vibrations of appliances.- Handled the scientific monitoring for the Research Group of Acoustic and Vibrations
