I am a Go-to-Market (GTM) executive and advisor, working in full-time, fractional, and advisor roles. I specialize in assisting organizations with the processes and systems that connect Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Finance (RevOps). I have over 16 years of experience working primarily with education technology (EdTech) companies. We had significant revenue growth at three firms, resulting in a successful exit. The most recent was Golden Gate Capital's acquisition of Securly in the spring of 2021. Over the past ten years, I have expanded beyond my technology career and have worked as a board member for three nonprofit organizations. I am passionate about giving back and helping our at-risk youth and young adults. Before my time in the EdTech sector, I sold Cybersecurity, ERP, and other enterprise-level applications. I also spent four years selling networking solutions and services. I began my career as an engineer before moving into Marketing and Sales. I have worked with Cloud (SaaS) solution providers for twelve years. I am very experienced with the subscription licensing model and how this impacts an organization’s sales strategy. While winning new accounts remains important, the subscription model significantly emphasizes customer retention. It is imperative for an organization to execute the Customer Success initiative successfully.
