Luis is a visionary and an innovator who founded Superalgos in 2017.Born in Cordoba, Argentina, Luis started his career at Latin America-based Kepler Technology, where he developed software for the financial industry focusing on the security and scalability of banking systems. By 2000, Luis founded Frame Labs, a firm specializing in internet banking systems and security consultation.In 2010, Luis travelled to Morocco to research an iconic form of Arabic geometric architecture. Fascinated with its beauty and complexity, Luis then developed a system to automate the design of non-repetitive patterns. Although academics had studied these patterns for centuries, Luis was the first to automate the design of non-repetitive Arabic patterns and produce them using modern production technology. He formed a company in Dubai, Nomad Inception, to bring the iconic features of Arabic architecture and decorative art to modern architectural projects. Subsequently, Luis has been invited to lecture on Arabic art throughout the globe.While living in Dubai in 2013, Luis learned of Bitcoin and its potential to accelerate productivity in finance and to disrupt many of society’s inefficient norms. While in Dubai, he handed out an Arabic-inscribed business card for “Nomad Inception” to a local sheikh. The sheikh turned to him and mentioned that with one small addition to the word “Inception” – a single dot – his company name would translate to “bitcoin.” His fate was sealed. Shortly thereafter, Luis formed Fermat, an open source project that proliferates the concept of the Internet of People. In 2014, Luis moved to Budapest and kick-started the Fermat / Internet of People project. In 2017 he left Fermat to found Superalgos.org aiming to create an open p2p network to coordinate traders at scale, in a pseudonymous way and without counterparty-risk. Finally, the project of a lifetime.
