CurrentWhile in the Checkout Team, I enhanced and maintained critical services including:- The Marketplace Checkout Service;- A service to manage customers' addresses;- A raffles service designed to facilitate the sale of sought-after items;- A service for halting checkout orders following business regulations;- Implementation of the Common Sales Order entity;Transitioning to the Engineering Foundations Team, I assumed a diverse array of responsibilities, which included:- Developing and maintaining internal frameworks, libraries, and tools, including a framework used as the core of multiple microservices, utilizing the Microservice Chassis pattern;- Supporting Farfetch engineers with the usage of the internal frameworks;- Developing best practices, coding guidelines, and project templates to be used by the other company software engineers;- Maintaining the open-source projects: KafkaFlow and LoadShedding.
