For over 12 years, I have been involved in projects of different sizes, always committed to excellence and high quality.This amazing journey started many years ago. My childhood ran across job sites and my family's engineering and construction office, perfect places to nourish my curiosity about how things work, how buildings resist the forces, and how we build them. This environment of plans, concrete, and steel made it easy to decide to study civil engineering at my hometown university, my Ama Mater: University of Los Andes, in Merida, Venezuela.As I continued in my degree, I performed different roles within my family’s company, starting as a DRAFTER and running the errands to managing residential projects, from the design kickoff meeting through all stages to the competition, often managing teams of professionals of many specialties and seniority.Right after my graduation, I decided to leave my country and start this amazing journey following the amazing opportunities this profession had offered me during these years. This journey has proven my capability to adapt to new environments, often including new standards, codes, regulations, types of projects, and new roles and responsibilities.Looking back to it, I can tell I felt very challenged when I started as Civil Construction Supervisor at the CAREM25 Project: I was the youngest team member in a key role for that phase of the project. I had an amazing team that helped me land smoothly within that new challenge, and I also had a very comprehensive manager who supported me to deliver the expected performance quickly and work beyond the assigned tasks.I strongly believe that good teamwork boosts our capabilities. It is not only the manager's work to motivate and engage the team but also every member's daily effort. In my years of experience, I have had the opportunity to collaborate in all sizes of teams and projects, leading and being led, and I remember those places where my team wore the boots and jumped into the mud, knowing each one would back up the others. I am convinced that a positive attitude and commitment will result in achieving the team's goals.
