Licensed insurance broker in the Dominican Republic with extensive experience (more than 30 years) in the handling of multinational accounts. Completed the Bachelor in Business Administration program with a Major in Property and Casualty Insurance at The College of Insurance at New York in 1979, in addition to a Certificate in Finance and Accounting for the Non-Financial Executive from The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. Also, completed in June of 2008 a Masters degree in Insurance from the Pontificia Universidad de Salamanca (Spain) and in 2013 a Certificate in Risk Management from the Latin American Risk Management Foundation,Was president of the Dominican Brokers Association (Associación Dominicana de Corredores de Seguros - ADOCOSE) during the year 1988 and since that time actively participated in the Panamerican Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (Confederación Panamericana de Productores de Seguros - COPAPROSE), organization in which served as president during the period 2006 - 2008. In March of 2010, became Chairman of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII), after one year acting as Incoming Chairman, becoming Immediate Past Chairman on March of 2011 and completing these three years of service in March of 2012.Main goal is to explore business opportunities in the Dominican Republic and Latin America, related to existing expertise in Insurance and Risk Management, capitalizing on both knowledge and good relations developed world-wide.Specialties: Risk analysis and solutions, insurance program design and implementation, ongoing consulting and claims services.
