About Luka Kovač
I'm currently pursuing an MSc in Cognitive Science at the joint master's program (University of Vienna, Medical University of Vienna, Comenius University in Bratislava, and Eötvös Loránd University Budapest). My focus is on AI, reinforcement learning, cognitive robotics, human-robot interaction, and computational psychotherapy. Prior to this, I completed a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where I had a focus on mechatronics, control theory, and artificial intelligence.I have a range of work experience, including internships in software development and teaching, as well as roles in HR and laboratory assistance. I have also worked in production and have experience in project launches, problem-solving, and training interns. In my previous role as Vice President for HR at the Board of European Students of Technology, I coordinated and managed a team of 12 members and successfully recruited and integrated 9 new members to the organization. I'm skilled in Python and have experience in dynamic complexity algorithms and design thinking methodology.In addition to my academic and professional experiences, I have also been active in leadership and extracurricular activities. I have participated in several hackathons, where I have had the opportunity to work on projects using Python and demonstrate my skills in problem-solving and teamwork. I have also volunteered with a student organization, where I have organized events and been involved in building connections between universities, students, and industry.
