As a Financial Advisor Intern, I built my own client base from scratch through networking activities and communication skills I learned through extensive practice and training. When meeting with clients, I consult with them about their personal and professional goals and needs in order to make recommendations about insurance, investment, and retirement planning, as well as the tax implications surrounding all of these. In order to do this, I had to study and pass required examination to become licensed in the state of North Carolina to sell life and health insurance. After consulting with clients, I develop and present personalized financial plans based on their individual needs. I constantly utilize and enhanced critical thinking, problem-solving,time management, and communication skills in all aspects of this job.

As a member of the support staff, I use communication skills to tell customers the daily information as they arrive, meet their needs, and perform duties that keep the course running smoothly. I use multi-tasking and organizational skills to constantly clean carts and clubs, refill range ball supply, and smoothly coordinate 200 players onto and off of the course.
