Luke Caporale is a Assistant Director, Ticket Strategy and Operations at Stanford Athletics. Colleagues describe him as "Recently my sports marketing class visited the Pirates organization at PNC Park. Luke kindly took time to speak with us about the sports industry, most notably ticket sales. He did a tremendous job in speaking frankly with my students about what it takes to get into the business, what it’s like once you’re in it, and most importantly, how to succeed in a sales role, as well as how to advance quickly. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that Luke knows the business very well, he obviously loves selling, and I find him to be a very engaging speaker. It meant a lot to me that he was so willing to help my students understand the business, and he’s offered to take more time if any of them need advice or have further questions. Luke represents the Pirates organization exceptionally well, and I have no doubt that he’s going very far in sport.
