About Luke Chequer

I feel my skills both in problem solving and leadership have grown in leaps and bounds in the last eight years having touched on all facets of the industry from boilermaking/welding on mining equipment, heavy structural and construction projects to organizing and deligating work efficiently, to ensure both the client and my employer are impressed with the progress. My attitude to any obstacle I face in a project is that there is always a way and i enjoy discussing with work mates to finding an innovative solution to implement for future similar hurdles that may arise. My main purpose in a project is to stand out and be silently appreciated for my efforts and to achieve this I make it my goal to show that I can be both a dynamic team player and a productive, efficient worker who can also tackle a job independently with minimal supervision. Having resently been nominated by my work mates to be their Health and Safety Representative I completed my HSR course thereby instilling the pride and importance of keeping a workplace safe. This course also made the information available for me to introduce my co-workers on what their obligations to safety were. I'm also currently studyingPMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM),PRINCE2® Foundation and PRINCE2® Practitioner MCTS: Managing Projects with MS Office Project 2010MOS on Microsoft Office 2010 to further my knowledge in the construction industry and to give me the tools needed to efficiently supervise and manage projects in the future.

Listed skills include Construction, Metal Fabrication, Steel, Mining, and 23 others.
