While working at Northern Home Improvement, I learned many different skills as a crew member, and later as a crew leader. As a crew member, I performed construction tasks such as painting, carpentry, and demolition, and I collaborated with management and coworkers in order to ensure tasks were completed on time and to the desired standard. Once promoted to a crew leader, I was given the responsibility of organizing and managing a crew on the job site to ensure a smooth and efficient operation in order to meet the projected deadlines. I also logged the inventory during shipments of cabinets, created an Excel spreadsheet for quantities of products needed for a job, and learned to adapt quickly to schedule changes and unpredicted absences or issues throughout the job.
