My time spent as an NQT gave me a wealth of experience that I have been able to build on in my second year of teaching. I took on year leadership responsibilities, such as organizing the trips, which helped with understanding the logistics of liaising with other organizations and groups. This allowed me to, as part of my ICT co-leadership, set up a google virtual reality day in my second year. I am also adept in a wide range of computing applications, and have undertaken training in programming courses (which looked at scratch and J2code among other applications designed to enhance learning) to accentuate this. I also worked as a Team Leader for Everychild (charity) and as such have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have continued to use those skills to develop relationships with staff in school, and I have developed over two years consistently strong parent teacher relationships. My technical theatre training at LAMDA has given me a range of transferable skills in terms of management, budgeting and practical skills in sound and lighting.
