I enjoy working in teams in production-related projects and tasks in television and film. My technical and creative experience encompasses video, audio, film and television production, and writing. I'm always at work on a project, and I'm looking to further my career in the field.At ENMU, I served as President of Hound Waves Student Radio for the 2016-2017 academic year. I attended a Student Fees Board meeting in March 2017 on behalf of Hound Waves to promote university funding for the organization. At Hound Waves, I hosted an internet radio show. I operated the audio board and broadcaster automation software for queueing and playing songs. I also took calls on the studio phone line. The shows typically ran one to two hours.I received the Rising Star in Filmmaking student award in April 2017. I was a Production Assistant on the short film SYNC. I wrangled cable and set C-stands, flags, and ARRI lights. In 2018, I wrote, produced, and edited my junior year film, Jordy's Way. I edited the picture in Avid Media Composer and the soundtrack, including post-production ADR, in Pro Tools. In my senior year, I was the location sound mixer on the short film Quietus, and the sound designer and post-production audio editor on the short film ROAST'ED, on which I assembled and spotted in all sound effects and all other elements of the soundtrack in Pro Tools.At KENW-TV, I gained my first camera operating, floor directing, audio board, and editing television experience on the Creative Living with Sheryl Borden program. I minored in Communication Studies and graduated summa cum laude in Digital Filmmaking in May 2019. After graduation, I worked as a Production Assistant in live morning newscasts at KOAT-TV, where I strengthened my skills in live television production.I have experience writing, proofreading, and editing fiction in the form of scripts, verse, and prose, including short and feature-length screenplays, poetry, short stories, and essays. I am capable of polishing written works and ensuring the highest professional quality of documents.
