I’m an English language educator with over five years of experience in educational design and instruction. I help students achieve their goals through a combination of technological tools, thoughtful planning, engaging learning experiences and a student-centred approach.Some examples include:- Designing a virtual escape room for ESL learners to practice prepositions of place while interacting with an engaging narrative. - Using science-based assessment to track students’ vocabulary knowledge and utilizing multiple play based methods to build vocabulary including story-building, word webs and card games.- Leading students through the process of creating interactive stories using Twine, developing both their technological and writing skills.I get excited about the process of overcoming new challenges by collaborating with passionate people and designing unique learning experiences.
