As a Senior Credit Analyst in RAF's Middle Market Agribusiness group out of our Loveland, CO office I am responsible for portfolio management and business development support of a territory extending from Texas to Washington State. Godavari Biorefineries Inc. is the US subsidiary of an integrated sugar, ethanol and chemical producer in India. The company's biorefining platform produced carbon neutral products derived from Sugarcane. In my role as Business Development Manager I had the following responsibilities: - Prospecting, calling and closing on a first-time customer base in the Americas for the chemicals produced in India. Closed major sales with 15 new customers, including a long-term supply agreement with the largest global chemical distributor. - Managed logistics and supply chain for all shipments made from India to customers in North and South America. - Built financial models in excel to measure risk and value creation of potential biorefining ventures. Models were based on data from several disciplines, including: Engineering, Agriculture, Weather, Market and Economic. - Performing due diligence on acquisitions and JVs with final recommendations presented to executive level management and board of directors.
