I work exclusively with the incredibly talented Visual Design Team at Snap Inc. My primary role is as a Production Designer. I work closely with the Product Design team on the camera vertical to ensure that feature designs are ready for engineering. I create spec documents in Figma that clearly explain all aspects of a new feature: the user flow, sizing and spacing, color and type styles, components used, variations in screen size, variations in language and the impact on the UI, and platform specific variations. The camera team is really wonderful to work with and they afford me a lot of creative freedom, welcoming my input on the design.Aside from feature specs, I also have the opportunity to work on more long term design explorations of app features, codify and organize components and libraries, and work with the Systems Design Team on documentation and design updates.

Eugene, Oregon Area

At Palo Alto Software I work with a fantastic marketing team collaborating on a wide array of digital marketing projects. Most of my time is spent designing high fidelity, responsive PSD mockups for web pages for our various product sites. We do AB testing regularly so my work is often very focused on conversion and positive user experience. I also work closely with the web development team QA-ing design implementation on finished web pages. In addition to website projects I also support the marketing team with whatever else is needed, like banner ads, print material, and trade show collateral. I’m fortunate to have had the opportunity to dive deep into just a few brand identities and develop cohesive and consistent identities for our products, creating custom iconography, color palettes, and graphics.

Bend, Oregon Area

My main responsibility at Five Talent was to design custom websites. This included wireframe layouts, high fidelity PSD mockups of multiple pages, and different responsive looks. I also edited photographs, as well as created custom icons, patterns, and color schemes for these sites. I also occasionally worked on some small scale rebrand projects to accompany new websites that involved designing a logo, choosing typefaces and color palettes, and creating an overall visual identity. Print projects were also sometimes a part of my workflow. This includes projects like trifold brochures, pamphlets, and business cards. Once, I even did the whole layout for a 56 page magazine issue. Accomplishing all of this required collaborating with coworkers and clients both in person and electronically. Understanding project scope, client needs, and working with a diversely skilled team were all integral to success.
